I'm about 10 years behind both of you guys, but never in a million years could I compare my service in the military to either one of you.

Yup, I called Ft Bragg recruiting at about 1100 hours on 9/11. The Sgt told me I was the 100th retiree to call in and volunteer. He said he put my name on a list...Never heard a word.

I don't think about "over the hill" in an age sense. When I was on active duty it had an entirely different meaning. I did not participate in that one either...if ya know what I mean.

I figure as long as I wake up on the green side of the grass and there is work to be done, I can help.
