Michael, There are very good technologies to convert coal into a clean fuel. In particular gasification prior to combustion can be very clean. How expensive is it? How expensive is foreign oil?

I do agree with you on nuclear power. It is the clear opportunity to provide clean electric power. I continue to find it ironic that those in favor of reducing greenhouse gases will have to come face to face with nukes!
