it is going to be Clark all the way, IMO. Dean will be a Dukakis except that he won't get to where Dukakis got.

Clark has his own problems against Bush, namely that many very high ranking generals considered him a prima donna and insubordinate.

But he's certain more viable in the foreign policy arena.. Except he'll have to explain why he was willing to commit US ground forces against Milosevic, where there was NO US INTEREST, but now claims to have been against US forces in Iraq, where the global economy is addicted to the region's oil.

If you want to talk about a Vietnam scenario, Serbia and Kosovo were it... Their people have a proud history of fighting effective guerilla wars from their forested mountains.

Clark is fumbling for an effective political position. But his recent comments on preserving middle class tax cuts, and making incomes of under $50,000 (4 kids?) tax free is certainly a vote getter..

It will depend on who he chooses as a running mate.
