It's worse than that. His thinking leads to the idea that it is moral to kill one for the good of the group. That is what Grover Norquist is talking about with his "Holocost" analogy. The Nazis justified their killing on the basis that "you are nothing, the state is everything."

"Tax the Rich" is based on the same concept.
