go else where for their computer purchases

True, I have 4 dell machines from past purchases, but my latest is not. That is partly service and partly that I wanted the newer AMD based equipment.

re: To bad, Dell was a class act, but no longer.

I happen to disagree with you long term on that statement. Dell has had many hiccups in the past only to fix them or move on. One could read our experience a few ways. 1) Dell doesn't care. Not True!. 2) They are not prepared for the hassles of dealing with the consumer. Could be. I really hate how automated customer service has become. I hit the zero over and over to get through to a personm seems to work with whatever company I'm calling. 3) They have way too many orders then their vaulted JIT system can handle. Most likely. They could be a short term negative, long term positive. They will fix it or end up with mud on their face. I wouldn't be holder of DELL at this juncture anyhow.
