Some people -- too many, perhaps -- would say that a good decision is one that either gets what you want, or enables you to sue somebody else because you didn't get what you wanted. The only bad decision is one that both produces a bad result and makes you take the blame for it!

Extraordinary.

Dean is quoted by the Washington Post as defending his support for civil unions by saying because they have a genetic component, "From a religious point of view, if God had thought homosexuality is a sin, he would not have created gay people."

Seeing as how if you believe God created anybody you also believe he created murderers, pedophiles, spousal abusers, etc. There is as much evidence that there are genetic components to violence and pedophilia as there is evidence that there are genetic components to homosexuality.

So you have it from Dean. God doesn't think murder, pedophilia, or domestic violence are sins.

Egad. And this man wants to be our President.
