Yes, Dell still builds a great computer. However, why do they put the customer through all that pain in order to buy and enjoy the PC?

Yesterday, my Monitor arrived, but Fedex didn't leave it as they required a signature. I expected the Monitor to arrive today. I signed up for email notice as to when the Monitor ships, and the tracking number. I never received the email notice from Dell! Lucky, my wife was able to pickup the Monitor from Fedex's office which is near her office.

Yesterday, I needed to contact Dell's tech support. Guess what, I got a guy who is based in Round Rock, TX. He couldn't fix my problem, so he said that he would research it and call me back. Forty-five minutes later, he called and had a fix for the problem. Now, that's what I call tech support. But, as I said it came from Texas, not overseas. I can't help but wonder if I would have gotten the same support from an offshore support group...hmmmmm.
