There should be serious limitations to funding requests during election years as a start to stop the democrats and republicans from spending too much. Concentrate on the waste and the money is already there.

Prescription drugs, No Child Left Behind, AIDS funding, welfare for immigrants, and now this ludricrous space initiative -- the guy is spending MY MONEY on shit! The first Dem who steps up and proposes axing those programs will get my vote. Of course, we all know there is no Dem brave enough to do that. and don't forget amnesty for current working illegals. and the attendant huge spending increases that will result from ballooning social services costs. i have had it with the republican admin and the spending/pandering. not getting my vote come november oh btw... did you see the jobs number this morning? i reiterate the question, at what point does a lagging indicator vis a vis jobs become a leading indicator???
