Osama bin Laden declared war on us in the early '90s! Fact is, that over the last ten or so years, different terrorists, foreign or domestic, have gotten off attacks on our soil (not including embassies) every few years. Not any more often than that. We went two years between the first WTC bombing and Oklahoma City, and then six until the attacks of September 11th, 2001. A number of other attacks were foiled in the meantime. It's not to say that Bush has done a bad job on national security, just to say that the jury should still be out. -Z
