I don't think the issue is the farm subsidies (although the last farm bill was 190 BILLION which makes you wonder how that industry is sustainable)- it has more to do with technology feeling shunted in this huge pork fest.

I think they are stating clearly to congress that politicos shouldn't expect favors in 04. Thats my read on it anyway.

Is it your contention that goods and services will not get supplied if there is not a large federal government subsidy for those goods or services?
