LOL! That's what I've been doing.

After I click "Download' another "Save this file to disk" window appears. I click OK and another window appears with the title "AUickTImeInstaller.exe.xls". ????? At the bottom it has a filename box that has "QuicTimeInstaller.exe" entered and below that another selection "Save as type:" box that shows ".xls". It's a pulldown menu and the only other selection provided is "All Files". I've tried both selections; no difference.

Looking in the yellow pages for the local witch doctor.....

This makes no sense.

I'm going to try to pull in some real executables from twocows and see if that will reset the .xls type that seems to be stuck.
