well I am predicting a very high voter turnout this time due to the polarized electorate. However, on Tim Russert last night they had 2 strategists, one dem and one repub. They both agreed that the election will be close, 5 electoral votes was the deciding factor they used. Some states are "locked", these are the northeast and west (dem) and South (repub). That leaves 13 states, which they didn't name except Florida. Both parties think FLA goes their way.

I'd sure like to know what those 13 states are. I am fairly certain they include MO, FLA, Ohio but who else?

Just anecdotally, I know people in North Carolina, I'm sure that is listed as a Bush stronghold but these people say unemployment is rampant and the state wants Bush to go.
