Ridiculous, but any more ridiculous than most the crap that comes out of candidate's mouths. I don't think so. Just another political promise that he can't keep and if something were to go wrong, he would have a million excuses as to why it wasn't his fault. Pathetic, but true.

Admit it. Wesley Clark gives you the same queasy feeling as Alexander ("I am in charge.")Haig; another general who went political. McArthur also comes to mind. I suspect IKE is the modern day exception to this weird general rule. mike
