I don't think they will move that fast. I suspect the New Years celebration will go as planned and then we will see the effects of SARS Sequences and Selection

Jay, You don;t have anything to worry about. WHO says an exact match of a complete S gene sequence is not a link to the source of the SARS symptoms in the index case.

That's getting close to the manipulation of the Taiwan classifications which ended up showing that case fatality rates were higher in SARS CoV negative patients than SARS CoV positive (indicating SARS CoVs save lives!).

SARS Speaking is alive and well.

Lots of media covering a reported SARS fatality in Russia. Not much detail on why the pneumonia death is considered SARS, but 44 year old New Zealander arrived in Urals Jan 3 and was dead yesterday
