So is much of the Likud, and a lot of the members that aren't pander to the ones who are. It couldn't have really been done much differently. It was gonna be contentious, no matter what. The issue was that the U.N. was never willing to stand behind what it created. If the U.N. had sent in troops to the Israeli border in 1948 to prevent a war, we wouldn't have these problems today. There's no imminent solution. Anyone who claims there is is off the mark, IMO. -Z
