Just keep saying the same stupid thing over and over again; like it makes it true. For the reasons I've given, the disgrace was in the implementing of the war, not the ending of it. The loss to those that backed the wrong side of the dispute were inevitable. Live with it.

And yes, I would like to see the Iraqis solve their own problems, if they have the will, as opposed to watching us decide what's best for them and FORCING those beliefs on them with the blood of our young and of their own people.

Pragmatism and the lessons of Russian occupied Afghanistan, French occupied Vietnam and the Sudan, and American occupied Vietnam, all point out one truth; a nation must solve it's own problems and will resist with deadly resolve the attempts of an occupier to govern it.
