AS, In the 90's EVERYONE got richer because the middleclass were fully employed and everuyone was chipping in enough taxes to pay for everything.

What's your definition of the "middle class"? People in the 2nd and 3rd quartile of wage earners in America? You know how much of the income tax burden they shared in 2001? Somewhere between 9% and 13%. And that was true even during the Clinton years.

So much for the myth that wealth is being redistributed from the middle class to the rich.

Wealth redistribution is underway now from the middleclass to the rich.

How so? The wealthy pay combined federal and state income taxes of roughly 45%. The middle class pays more like 31%.

Could you please explain to me how this is "redistribution of wealth"??? Are you just preferring the wealthy become middle class themselves?

If you want to talk about unfair wealth redistribution, talk about Social Security, which redistributes wealth from the young to the aged.

Even if what you described was true (and only part of it is) it wouldn't be wealth redistribution from the middle class to the rich. It might be avoidance of a redistribution from the rich to others and apparently you think that wealth should be redistributed that way, but that isn't the same as redistributing wealth from others to the rich.
