film vs. flash

no contest for me. used to take 1-2 rolls per year, got a Coolpix 800 in Dec 99 and have taken about 20,000 shots since. Print about $200 worth every year (Ofoto).

the two shortcomings of the 800 that I can think of are lousy indoor shots (flash sucks) and long delays to 'reload.'

for my next upgrade, any suggestions in the $300-$500 range? for me, weight isn't much of an issue, and I'd prefer a camera that uses CF. TIA.
