I find that when a person is presented with a solution they don't like, and they don't have a good, ready, answer against it, or when they just want to f**k with you, they go for the "Oh, you are oversimplifying!" Or, "There are many other factors you haven't considered!"

Academics are famous for this approach. We had one with us on FA and here for the last couple of years that I don't think you ever read. JohnM. A retired Social Science Prof in NJ. From an excellent College. He was an expert at this approach. I became a friend of his, improbable as it may seem. Others on this thread will tell you he nearly drove them to apoplexy.
