Not only is he getting bad poll numbers, but he wouldn't even let Katherine Harris run for Florida's senate seat. She wanted an OK from the White House before she announced. Of course, she got her negative response from the White House before the poll you just cited was released. Do you think Bush got an advanced copy of it?

Think she'd be running if she could bring some votes his way? You bet! The only reason why she's not running is 'cause she'd take votes away from Bush.

Hmmmm. I wonder why!

I got all fired up about the mars mission when he made the proposal, as I am a huge proponent of it.

But until he really addresses the funding issue, I don't think the plan is going anywhere.

The mars mission would, of course, be extremely dangerous and a tremendous waste of money, but the government will waste the money anyway, and I'd just as soon they waste it doing something really cool.
