Presently, I don't own a firearm, but I am still a member of the NRA. Liberals don't get it, they are always trying to pick on honest gun owners.

Ish, I was EVEN YOUNGER. Only about 10 when my family went to the movies one night and left me alone at home. We lived 3 miles out of town in the country. 1/2 mile to the nearest home. BUT, I had a BAVARIAN SHEPARD which is the largest model German Shephard. Anyhow, I was watching t/v when the hair on the back of the dog raised, I looked up and THERE WAS A FACE IN THE WINDOW. The dog then growled like mad and ran to the door. I ran and got a pistol and opened the door. The man was running up our driveway and the dog downed him about 100 yards from the house. I fired up in the air, as that was the ONLY way I knew I could get the dog to get off him and return to me. The guy was chewed up pretty good, later the police came to the home (fellow was hospitalized). Turns out he was A convicted SEX OFFENDER home on leave from a mental hospital. I didnt get into any trouble, they just wanted to document the facts. jdn
