Hi Ron,

re: Your comment, "However, Edwards has come a long way in the last few months, and now reminds me of Tony Blair in the way he articulates issues."

That is probably the main reason I am somewhat afraid of Edwards, his being like Blair.. He might articulate well, but I don't know what he is really thinking and what his real agenda is, besides himself, that is. <g>.

I don't particularly like Edwards

Whats your primary complaint about Edwards can I ask?

I like Edwards, and he managed a win in NC in 98 that showed he could really organize against a backdrop of media saying he could never win. I forgot the challengers name, the oldline far right incumbent. Edwards win was impressive then.

My biggest problem in this election is Edwards campaign advisors. I remember when Edwards had a half hour on some talking head show a while back, and all he did was make excuses on why he voted for war. He should have just said "yeah I did it"- comment on any mistakes made and leave it at that, then transition on to other issues where he was stronger. Instead he wasted the whole show on excuses. Finally it seems like the other dems have been able to get over their vote for war in Iowa it seems.

Ron,

You are a prophet. Mrs Dean made her appearance today. She explained that her patients depend on her daily so waited for final day to campaign with her husband. That's perfectly understandable for an MD whether male or female. GOP's Dr. Frisk is evidently not concerned about his patients, since he is in Iowa today & Wash DC just about every other day. Americans need to step into 21stC when it comes to First Ladies. There's no reason why our President's wife needs to be constantly on his arm. Why should he be only man in country with that advantage?:)
