And it was precisely when that 50% level of support got threatened that Americans got their media-filled ears filtered with new lies (aluminum tubes, yellow cake from Niger, mobile WMD labs, manned and unmanned drones, etc.) or Al Qaeda connections or whatever as new justifications for this war. The Administration didn't care if truth became a victim so long as that 50% mark was maintained to enable the war, with or without UN support. Is this what Clinton did when he bombed Iraq?
