My shorthair was pretty good in the water but not quite as avid as my lab. Shorthair ran circles around the lab when pheasant hunting though. Sadly they are all gone now and I am without. Going to stay that way. Can't stand to put any more animals down:(

Personally, I think dogs are a much better race of animals then humans. I don't see dogs or cats for that matter, doing to their kind what we humans do to our own.

I love my husband and children with all my heart but my best friend in the world is my dog.
