Money-hungry people have caused most of the injustices, slaughters, warfare in world history and then they have the audacity to claim to be the reason behind progress of the human race. Ann, you are so, "don't bother me with the facts" that it gets funny. The misery of the 20th century was brought to us by profit hating collectivists under the name of communism/socialism/Fascism. Henry Ford didn't have to use a gun or cause misery to sell Model T's. Bill Gates didn't put people into concentration camps to get them to use Windows. The best thing that could happen to this country would be for Bush to stand at the Podium tonight and say, "everybody get out there and make a buck, and may the devil take the hindmost!"

American business execs have the most humungous egos ever assembled on face of the earth. They have big egos, but typically political leaders have even bigger egos. Money-hungry people have caused most of the injustices, slaughters, warfare in world history Most of the slaughters where done for conquest or in the name of an ideology or religion or out of hatred for a specific race, religion or other group. then they have the audacity to claim to be the reason behind progress of the human race I didn't say "American business execs" where the reason behind most of the progress of the human race, but people motivated by profit are in aggregate the biggest source of progress for the human race. The average inhabitants of this planet have progressed IN SPITE OF the inequities imposed on them through centuries by the greedy class. Without the profit motive and capitalism most of the people on this planet would have never been born. Tim
