The problem, Del, is that even supposing that global warming is not a statistical anomaly, we do not understand causation or possible counter- effects well enough to predict whether it will be a serious long term problem, or something a good deal more modest. Meanwhile, the industrialized world is being asked to throw people out of work and lower its standard of living.......
