My big objection to Bush is not really the tax cuts. I don't think they were fair or stimulated anything (not much of a case for dividend tax cuts creating jobs), but if Bush had granted tax cuts with the understanding that in the next upcycle the budget would be back on track, you wouldn't hear too many complaints from me.

My problem with Bush is that he is such a corporate special interest controlled shill that he has allowed this "hollowing out" of the workforce because corporate special interests wanted it. It is bad for the country and bad for the budget and bad for security. Now Bush is pushing for the national version of a very unpopular initiative involving immigration.... the national version of something called prop 187 in California that when voted on here, told the legislation LOUD AND CLEAR that Californians want immigration control.

But Bush's stinky donors want to be able to hire from anywhere in the world at 3rd world wages.... there goes the US engineering base... but its all good because it means Carly Fiorina gets to make more money.

Working people, particularly professionals know exactly what is going on in this white house and I think Bush is going to have a fight on his hands in 04, not from the far left but from people like me who can see where this economy is heading.... banana republic land.

Bush really pushed his luck with this immigration plan. NO WAY. He pushes this down the voters throats and he is out for sure.
