Why believe BLS over CBO or the Christian Science Monitor?

I'm aware o the relationship of the debt to GDP. Too bad our friends like PT and sylvester aren't.

to re-invigorate the economy, and also for political purposes. I think, in the long run, the steps President Bush has taken will make for a very strong economy in the future, exceeding all others in the past.
Keynesian, eh? OK. So the gov't spends like a drunken sailor and, of course, the economy starts humming, GDP goes up (since those gov't expenditures count in GDP), unemployment drops, and everybody is happy.

Then the gov't stops the deficit spending. So what keeps the wheels whirring then? All that made them spin in the first place was gov't spending.

Yes? Do the words "drunken sailor" enter your mind?
