more.... Subject: TEUC To: Sen. Arlen Specter Sen. Rick Santorum January 23, 2004 Dear Sirs: I have never felt I had a reason to ever write my congressmen ever in my life. My life was very simple and I never have really been affected by your decisions, nor did I pay attention. That was until last July, when I lost my job. I never was fired ever in my life or lost my job. I have a B.A. and a B.S. in Business Administration and over 20 years of business experience. Finding a job and accepting new challenges was never difficult for me, UNTIL NOW! My unemployment benefits ran out the first week of January and I still do not have a job. I have applied to over 30 jobs and have had only 2 interviews. Am I not skilled enough, or do I need further education? I have just taken a part -time job for to help with my bills. Let's see, I would have to work 86 hours a week just to get by on my bills. I was told today that only 10 hours a week are available. I took them but am so worried that I HAVE TO ASK FOR HELP FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE! Please pass the TEUC so I can at least stay afloat and survive without losing everything. I have been a strong Republican all my life and have always believed in your causes. I always supported President Bush and his stance. But the economy is not back yet, millions are still out of work and I can't get an interview. Please restore my faith in this country and make me a believer of how the Government helps those in need. Please pass the bill and give all of us a fighting chance. Uniontown , PA
