I didn't "interpret them," I quoted certain statements and expressions of his and gave my personal reaction to them. "Appetite"?

This was a public statement. IMO, soldiers should reserve that sort of excitement about their appetites for more appropriate venues. I expressed that.

Laz, the problem isn't his message. It was that his language was too flip. The subject calls for, if not solemnity, at least sobriety. This isn't a computer game. One is not supposed to appear gleeful.
