It isn't the first time, nor undoubtedly will it be the last. It is not acceptable for anyone to decide that every thread on this site is available as their personal political soapbox, irrespective of their political orientation.

In any event, the specifics of Raymond's suspension are matter between the Raymond and the Admin, and won't be debated here.

If a tree falls in the forest, and it's the first time you've seen it happening, have trees ever fallen before?

So perhaps you have an attitude about Ray's politics.

Why do so many people who are zealously political assume that everyone else also is? I'm extremely apolitical.
