Well, I'm glad to hear the Cat has had a change of mind. I heard him interviewed about 2 years ago, and he said that Cat Stevens was dead and he wouldn't even discuss his old work, he said he wouldn't ever sing again except in prayer...

They asked him about statements he had made about Salman Rushdie's blasphemous book, and he said that Rushdie should be killed for his crimes against Islam...

It was horrible..

Glad to hear he is back on the positive side, he must have serious forces pulling in both directions in his head.

I really hope Dean comes out ahead in New Hampshire tomorra.

I've decided he's my man.

What seems to be a shame is that we finally have a guy
running who is not afraid to have an opinion and has no
strings attached to special interests, a true people's
candidate, and they keep playing that sound bite of him
showing some awkward passion and excitement, only if comes
across as him being out of control and perhaps strange.

He should try his best to get himself on Leno and Letterman
and help ease this over, showing he's got a sense of humor
or lighter side even willing to make fun of himself.

Sounds like Kerry might be interested in having Gephardt as a
running mate should he get the nom. Seems like a good
team if the country wants consevative progressives.

I wonder who Dean would ask. The General?

The General looks presidential. Well educated and handsome
with great leadership qualities. Except he seems rather
rigid. At least they got him to blink once in a while.
He's another one who could use a little Late Night PR. A
little humor would make these guys appear less stiff.

Anyhow, these are my political thoughts for this year.

I think I hurt my brain.

Speaking of which, if any of these candidates show they
have a brain along with some compassion, I think they have
a good chance against Shrub. Any of these guys could
probably do well in a debate against him.
