Why am I being so touchy? Because I have had three long years of listening to the supporters of Bush and their attacks.

Its not like you never said a bad word about GW. You attack GW, and they attack you back, or vice versa. What do you expect?

Your description is what could be called a synopsis of what transpired over the three years. The day to day reality was considerably different.

When I disagreed with the policies and actions of the president, I was called unAmerican and a traitor for disagreeing. When one of the Dixie Chicks disagreed with the president and proclaimed her dislike for him, she was called a traitor, and she and her family received death threats. When Congressman McDermott went to Iraq and criticized the president's actions in that country, there were cries of treason. When someone decided that my city was not flying enough American flags, it was called unpatriotic.

None of the above were treasonous, traitors, unpatriotic or unAmerican acts. In fact, the above people were exercising their rights as citizens of a democracy. Furthermore, many of their reasons for disagreeing with Bush have been validated by current info. And yet they/we were treated like we were pond scum. Some people were afraid to speak out.

That is why I am angry and I will do whatever I can legally to insure that regime change occurs in November.
