Who's re-writing anything. The Stern gang used reprehensible tactics but compared to the terrorist cowards that you seem to defend, like Hamass and the like, they were saints.

You pinpoint only Israeli extremists and why does that surprise me?

What don't you come close to current history and look at the corruption of Arafat and the hideous cowardly use of the Palestinians to keep him and other tyrants in power?

Yup, Stern Gang and the others routinely targeted civilians. They bombed buses, markets, hotels, etc.

And, of course, these comparisons overlook the fact that the Zionists had significant global backing. They were extremely influential in the two major imperial Western powers, US and UK. For example, they got the Balfour Declaration from England, and they got Harry Truman to force through the recognition of Israel. In contrast, the Palestinians right now have essentially zero influence in the global halls of power.
