Hey...opinions are like assholes....we all have one..... I rarely mention any details because I think it denigrates the whole idea of what military service to one's country means....your doubt notwithstanding.

Actually, The US saw some heavy action during the Gulf Tanker Wars, when Iran and Iraq were going heavy at it. US servicemen went through lots of hell and there were some heavy seaworthy tales to be told. But I'm not aware of any ground action. Grenada, Panama?
