How can we verify that nations aren't digging uranium out of the ground and covertly enriching it?

Not being a Nuke expert, I am not sure. However, I think going from ore to U-235 by centrifuge is very difficult.

I do know that if we get a world wide "no-nukes" ban it should not be too difficult to enforce. And getting countries like China, etc, to give them up will not be as hard as people might think if we were leading the way.

The moral pressure to do so world wide would be enormous.
