One good aspect of millions of cell phones and the internet is instant voting on issues. Instant democracy I guess. Becoming very popular in Britain from TV shows to Government reports on dodgy political activities.

Interesting to see what the response will be on the Hutton report.

<<They need to unite with rich countries>> That's what they tried and failed. Markets keep closed and the gentlemen agreement was concocted to the detrment of the poor
Joining the rich countries is a solution for European smaller economies that are becoming part of Europe. We obviously like to be part of a Western Hemisphere block form Alaska to Tierra de Fuego, but the US has an eye on its own internal problems to care for such a block.
countries. Lets try another way.

You haven't seen, yet, the 'China Effect'. When a few other countries stop and pounder:
Wait a moment, the Middle Kingdom has been shooting themselves in the foot for half millenium. The last thing they invented was the compass, and these guys can amass wealth?
We are not going to let them alone run away with the 'money spreading more evenly!

This thing is not as difficult as it's purported to be! You know, all those poor countries thinking that is an army of PhD's that makes a country, that having a scientists that work in the genome project or have basic science.

Those poor devils have been intimidated by the OECD countries that there are some rules they have to play by and at the end they will improve. Not is so far from truth. They;ve got to break the rules and go for it.

But I didn't say you're wrong, MQ. I advocate hiring a foreign Central Banker.

Sacking all those foreign diplomats that only know how to negotiate in the Cold War and have knowledge only of closed economies, would help.

Yes, they could hire you too. Those countries need someone who turn the construct around 180 degrees and show them how those things can be achieved.
