PB - not quite a generation ago, when a politician or even a governement was caught mocking up the facts, those people had to resign.
Politics also has changed, politicians now are professionals, not anymore an elected delegate of the people.
People in their majority can disagree and even be opposed to a government (btw, they choose the MPs, ministers are not elected) but when comes the time to vote, people become partisan again, voting one party against another.
I wonder how many voters take the time reading the programs the parties propose.
