Thanks for conceding the main point, that exterminationism was not mainstream, even among anti- semites. (I have read the offending works of Martin Luther). Do you know of anyone in a position of actual authority among the major Western powers who was clearly pro- Hitler? Maybe a handful of parlementarians in various countries, but I doubt there were many. Well, I am not sure we can resolve this. Suffice it to say Hitler was widely regarded as a threat, and the argument was about how to deal with it, whether more or less aggressively. If you cannot agree, peace.....
