Yup, perceptions & reality. Often at odds with each other & most folks don't bother finding the difference between the two.

I don't doubt that your information is accurate, Tim. How many times has the attorney gone into the courtroom with all the facts on his side, only to loose? You should know the answer to that question.

It is a fact that President Bush issued the orders to invade Iraq. It is a fact that I supported that move, based upon available information at the time. It is a fact that the the UN document is legal.

So what. It is a fact that the public's perception of what the president is doing right now is questionable by a large group of Americans. It is a fact that the UN has back peddled WRT it's earlier position.

Sure Tim, you have the facts that support your POV, but to continue to use those facts as a hammer against folks who don't support your POV is not going to change their POV. It seems that simple to me.
