I live in New York....Texas is not going to get any sympathy from me about high sales tax, school taxes, or any other taxes. And we have an income tax...... BTW, what is the sales tax rate in Texas????? We're at 8 1/4 in my county.

Texas has a high sales tax...

...and the rest of the story is that Texas has no income tax.
