Kerry is a liberal on most All issues.

If elected, Kerry will be tossed from the Catholic church too, another plus for the Kennedy Klan, huh?

Kerry is not as much of a liberal as the right claims. I've heard him disdain "googoo-eyed liberalism". What he means is being a pussy about the world, a bleeding heart. He's more of a tough but compassionate realist. He wants to help people and has a special concern for the environment but he knows compromises will have to be made. He's not some old-style semi-socialist, he's much more moderate than that.

On national defense, though he would be sceptical of big exopensive weapons systems we might not need, he would be personally engaged and prepared to attack if necessary. He would even get involved in planning whatever military action he's OK'ing. But his #1 concern on military issues is the troops themselves. He knows first-hand what it's like in battle, and despite some right-wing detractors, he's a real champion of the people in uniform.
