there are a lot of people out here with goals identical to the stated aims of the Bush regime.... not many willing to accept the standard old war-party 'shut up and take our orders' routine, though Yes that is the crux of the issue. By doing what he did when he did in the way he did it, he confirmed for many people that he is above all interested in (a) reelection,(b) rewarding his friends and (c) punishing his enemies. Not in his stated ideals. Though he has some eloquent and accomplished writers working for him to pretty up and rationalize his actions.
