LOL nice post, there's worse things than coffee <G>

Fundamental analysis got thrown out sometime in the late 90's <VBG>

Instead now we have dip buying at the 50 day MA or some BS like that.

Anyway here is my take on the Gold Sector.

As I read your post,

I felt you were privy to my subconscious

because in fact you made it explicit

Even the Scotland part, my middle name is Robertson

I think I still feel like a part of the clan

"Whatever happened to FA? Fundamental Analysis, value for money?"
FA's downfall to the retail investor is the timeliness of the flow of information. You are at an unfair disadvantage to the houses and always will be. Reg FD? Yeah right! I work at a major house and I can tell you it is nothing more than a PR front. TA on the other hand, everybody sees the same picture at the same time. You have different interpretations of that picture but it is still the same picture for everybody. That seems fair to me....you are the same as the houses. You have an equal chance. Also with FA, you have to trust the integrity of the company reporting the information as well. Take ENE and WCOM for example. All the FA in the world got tipped upside down there. However, TA would have told you to stay away as supports were being broken left and right. Dunno...I ultimately like a mix..90% TA and 10% FA.

My advice ... stay the hell out of the closest. Other than that I dunno.

Coffee beans? Only use em in my coffee maker and I am not getting involved in commodity trading, ever.
