Ann, the problem with Dean is how he puts things. He comes across as dry, rough and "confrontational". he is totally out of touch with the sentiments of all those Democratic party members who are hurting because they have no jobs and are seriously looking for someone who wants to get Bush out of the White House.

I saw his press conference the day after his scream speech. Somebody asked him that if he was delivering a speech that a victor would have delivered. Let us put aside the scream factor for a moment. Let us ask ourselves if he should have made the speech in that manner. It looked like a victory speech. Let us go back and look at Dukakis' concession speech, Gray Davis' concession speech. This guy should have been graceful in conceding Iowa, and infused positive hope for future elections. Instead he came across like what Bill Parcells or Mike Ditka would do. Did you see Bill Bellichek today, restrained even in victory. But this Dean guy was way off.
