Hawk, I'm Swiss. Switzerland is neutral by constitution.

Nothing you have opined thus far, with regard to Iraq or the US, strikes me as either neutral, or politically objective.

A truly neutral person would be as interested in what led up to these events and what prompted certain governments to take the actions that they did.. ON ALL SIDES...

A neutral would be looking for facts, and not merely focusing on one particular leader he doesn't happen to like.

So your own personal Swiss neutrality is as full of holes as your cheese.

And btw, Switzerland, even with your military, would have been toast had the US not defended Europe against the Soviet Union.. Hell, even Hitler was on the verge of invading you... Would have been a hell of a battle, but the country would have fallen.

The bottom line being that the Swiss government is just as morally ambiguous as Chirac.

So don't try and BS us with this "we don't ask the help of anybody"... You exist because certain European elites find it advantageous to have a place to hide their pilfered wealth.

Hawk

swisspolitics.org - boris, i tripped over this site the other day, found it highly interesting, especially links under 'Federalism' on the left hand side .... topical stuff, because if Iraq is not to be broken up and at the same time avoid civil war, it must develop a working federation ..... also, if we are somehow able to blunt the PNAC Might Makes Right system with a parliament of nations, it'll be using elements found in federal nations .... and of course there are few long-term working federations around, la Confederación Helvética being the most durable so far .... a true participatory democracy, i'd like to see some aspects used as a model in Canada, particularly that of the militia, to some degree

Sharon says he'll remove Gaza 'settlements' -
story.news.yahoo.com
... surprise ... well, we'll see what actually happens .... it's amazing if you look at a map of that tiny strip, how much of its land and water and access are controlled by a very few 'settlers' .... they've got one camp blocking the highway that connects one end of the place with the other
