Another lie from the right.

Most workers pay more in payroll taxes than they do in income taxes. And something like half pay payroll taxes but no income taxes.

Yet only the payroll taxes run surpluses, everything else is in deficit.

It's those surplus payroll tax dollars that are subsidizing cuts in income and estate tax cuts for the top.

It's quite scandalous actually.

I have made over 300 K several times. I have paid a lot of taxes. I don't mind paying my taxes so long pork barrel schemers like Bosh and Delay aren't giving my money away to cronies or spending it on needless wars and other boondoggles. When the budgets are finally balanced this economy with soar, and so will the dollar again.

If you're rich and you want to avoid taxes, then invest and hire people. There should be a tax reward for that. We need jobs in this country not more idle rich people.
