I think Kerry and supporters should knock off the implications that National Guard service like Bush's is somehow inferior or doesn't count, considering all the National Guard people in Iraq right now.

Absolutely correct.

We have a phrase to describe a man like him....
"He is a legend in his own mind."

Kerry's disparagement of someone else's military service is an outrage...especially if the reports that he had his own Vietnam service terminated after four months in country and his enlistment shortened by six months are true. Looks to me like Kerry was the one AWOL.

Kerry and al gore must have had the same family connections to get that done.
