Who believes this one?

The early-to-bed president missed the Super Bowl's risque halftime show.
foxnews.com

Bush told reporters after a Cabinet meeting. "Saw the first half, did not see the half time -- I was preparing for the day and fell asleep."

Another pretzel moment?

Half time started before 8:30 p.m. EST Sunday.

The former cheerleader falls asleep during closest Super Bowl ever after prancing in the snow at the start of the game? Yeah Right! He looked pretty alert before the game with his live interview from the backyard of the whitehouse.

There is no issue too big or too small for a Bush lie.

Surely, Saddam has an excuse for gassing Kurds as well. Something that probably goes along the lines of "Things could have been much worse if I didn't immediately end the Kurds' uprising" or something.

Personally, I think there is no excuse for mass killing of civilians, even in wartime, no matter what the circumstances.

Not that it matters. The statement to which I responded was "Iraq is the only country that ever used WMDs". I pointed out that is wrong, as anyone who has ever heard of Hiroshima and/or Nagasaki is aware of.

Deal with it, really...

What would you have done if you were Harry Truman?

I would have accepted the Japanese surrender, and avoided nuking two civilian cities.
