China has sustained itself for thousands of years Mish, they don’t need to wait 1, 2, 4 or 8 years.

Give me a break.
Can China sustain this growth right now without the US?
If China wants to grow it needs the US.

Perhaps you do not think China cares.
If so I beg to differ. (right now anyway)

Lets not try and debate what happen 5,000 years ago as it is meaningless.

Disagree with Mish, China does not need the USA. As a five thousand year old society, Asian cultures have always taken the long term view, plans go out 100 years or more.

In the ol USofA they go out a quarter now or maybe till the next refi cycle..........
